1. General Information

The Voxium App allows users to access audio content (e.g., podcasts) from different organizations (“tenants”). The app does not require registration and does not collect personal data from users.

2. Data Collection and Use

The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data such as names, email addresses, or device identifiers.
The only device feature accessed is the camera, used exclusively to scan a QR code during the initial setup. No photos or video recordings are saved or transmitted.
All communication with our servers occurs over HTTPS to retrieve configuration and read-only audio content.
The app does not perform analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking.

3. Data Sharing

No data is shared with third parties. The app retrieves public read-only data (audio and configuration files) from our own servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3 / CloudFront / AppSync) in the EU region.

4. Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
Configuration information such as an API key may be stored locally in the device’s secure storage (Keychain/SecureStore).
The app has read-only access to backend services and cannot alter or upload any data.

5. User Rights

As no personal data is collected or stored, there is no personal information to access, rectify, or delete. For any questions regarding privacy, contact us at hello@manifold.media.

6. Legal Basis under GDPR

Because the app does not process personal data, no legal basis under Article 6 GDPR applies. Should future versions introduce data collection, users will be informed and asked for consent as required by GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).

7. Hosting and Data Location

All data is hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers located in eu-central-1 (Frankfurt).

8. Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in functionality or legal requirements. The current version is always available via the index page at /privacy.html.
